After transacting at the bank in Landco building in Bajada on Saturday, I spotted this guy walking towards a vacant lot. Then he suddenly laid down as if he was having a sunbathing in Boracay!
As walked back to nearby Chowking, he stood and also walked towards my direction. He walked casually as if he’s in the beaches of Bahamas. While inside Chowking, I still managed to to take few shots.

I wonder why the police or anyone may have tried to stop him because it seems that he walked all the way from McDonalds then across the JP Laurel Ave.

I really salute Redemptorist priest Amado “Fr. Picx” Picardal for his bold effort — the “bike for life and peace,” which covered 5, 164 kilometers around the country. The journey ended today, May 18 at the Redemptorist church in Bajada, Davao City. Fr. Picx endured harsh weather conditions along the road to convey his message to the people around the country.
When he reached the Palace on April 27, guards barred him from entering the premises of the Palace. It’s nothing but a sign of government’s paranoia. It’s really frustrating to see Fr. Picx being barred at the checkpoint. The guards even alerted nearby police when he came closer to the guard house.
But anyway, that’s over. Let’s just hope that Fr. Picx message was loud enough so that the government would heed his call.

We were about to leave the Redemptorist church in Bajada this afternoon when Carol broke out the news that former AFP chief of staff Hermogenes Esperon was named as the new peace adviser replacing Jesus Dureza who is also set to take over Sec. Toting Bunye’s throne. The first thing that came into my mind, why Esperon? What’s the menu at the Palace’s kitchen in the coming days? Hmmm, let’ just wait and see.
