A different war…

War does not only mean ‘actual shooting’ or ‘actual combat.’ War is not just you see in your screens or newspapers. It does necessary mean armed groups shooting each other. Even politicians are into war — war in the political arena. Often times called ‘word war.’

Lately, we heard about the TV networks’ war — GMA vs ABS-CBN. These giant TV networks have been into war since then. They are fighting over the rating — if who should be the number one TV network in the Philippines.

From news and public affairs program, variety shows and telenovelas. Both TV networks are vying for the top spot.

ABS-CBN is questioning the authenticity of the television ratings data being produced daily by AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines after an informant reportedly spilled details that the households tapped for the survey in Bacolod have been influenced by a third party, thus influencing the viewing behavior of the sampled groups.     i think both stations should put this issue to rest, its just plain old war ratings, i see no point of judging both, i think they should bang their heads first… hahahah… their aggresiveness is way out blown into massive proportions…
