After two months of weaving and minting, the Agence Kunwari Presse website is now online. It’s an online photobank formed by young photojournalists coming from different corners of this messy country. The name is quite a joke but its intention is a no joke. The web design is serious as well as the photos too. Buck Pago is the brain of it’s name but when I was in Manila for our on-campus class at the ACFJ at ADMU, I told why not create a website for it? I found it funny and interesting. But I registered the domain and took the name seriously. I collected photos from those who want to join.
First, only four of us who agreed to setup the website. Aside from me and Buck, Toto Lozano and Cris Sevilla also jumped in. Then other photographers also joined in when they learned that we’re really serious in putting-up a website.
The site intends to showcase the works of our fellow photographers. But we’re still hoping to come-up with a serious meaning for that damn K, in the future. Mindanews is already using some of our photos and dispatching them to their subscribers.

Na lingaw ko sa imong site bai.
