After watching Pupil gig last Thursday, I jumped in at Dok’s car along with Jerome to watch their gig with Ebe (Sugar Free) as their vocalist at Saguijo. The two were already late, about 40 minutes as we were told by Mike Dizon. Saguijo was jampacked, no space move around. Jerome told me to stay beside him so that I can get good pictures.

I wanted to get a frontal shot of the band but I couldn’t move where I was because the crowd was already right in the front of their face. I remeber moving backward for few inches because Ebe nearly hit me with his guitar when he jumped.

The song “Darating” was really awesome. Even Dok admitted he misplayed some chords because he was filled with emotion as he was strumming his bass guitar. For the finale, they played “Shooting Star” then Rico Blanco suddenly came in! Check photos here.

While the protesters on other side of this street were holding a program, these cops appears to be relaxed. Protesters gathered along Commonwealth avenue as GMA delievered here SONA at the Batasan Complex.

It was my first SONA rally coverage in the Metro. Though not my first rally coverage. It was part of our assignment at the ACFJ at the ADMU. All of us were sent to cover any SONA-related. Despite of the scorching heat, we were able to survive the “dry” anti-SONA rally.
